Who We Serve & Eligibility Requirements
Heartland Lift reviews every air transport request against our current eligibility requirements. To qualify, a request must meet the following criteria:
- Origin within 50 miles of the Quad Cities region (Davenport & Bettendorf, IA; Rock Island, Moline & East Moline, IL)
- Patients traveling to long-distance ambulatory medical appointments who have no other means of transportation — for example, appointments in cities such as Des Moines, Rochester, or Chicago
Each request is reviewed individually. We are a small volunteer organization and cannot accommodate all requests, even when these requirements are met. If we are unable to assist, we will do our best to connect you with another resource.
